The International Year of Fruits and Vegetables 2021 (IYFV).

At its 74th session, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 2021 as the International Year of Fruits and Vegetables (AIFV). AILIMPO supports this initiative: AIFV 2021 is a unique opportunity to raise awareness about the important role of fruits and vegetables in nutrition, health and food safety, as well as in the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

AILIMPO encourages all its members to spread the AIV 2021 and its messages equally through their own actions and initiatives. 2021 will be an important year to intensify awareness-raising activities on the importance of fruit and vegetable consumption and its role in healthy and sustainable diets.
